Here is what some of our members say about their church family.

"I love that my church is filled with a Christ-centered family who truly cares for and supports each other and those around them." ~ Mary

"I love that everyone is always so welcoming to new people.  I love that the Pastor speaks in a way I can relate to.  He keeps me engaged in the sermons."  ~ Julie

"The best place within 50 miles to hear the Word proclaimed in spirit and truth.  I like this church of the Augsburg Confession." ~ D

"My church community is exceptionally friendly, supportive, and compassionate.  My pastor is the same and speaks in meaningful ways in words that bring understanding to the soul.  Whatever I am dealing with feels easier after worship service and receiving Jesus." ~ J

"We hear the Law and Gospel and have an opportunity to study God's Word!  Thanks be to God!" ~ Luann

"A wonderful and supportive faith community.  It is a family of believers.  God's Word of faith, hope, and love is spoken here." ~ Raymond and Janice

"Saint Paul is a warm, welcoming, and caring family of believers. It is our steadfast ark in the raging storm of the world, anchored in Christ. We weekly hear and celebrate God’s promises of forgiveness of our sins, a new spiritual and eternal life, in faith towards Him and fervent love towards one another. Pastor Daub is a humble, steadfast, devoted servant of the Lord with a great sense of humor." ~ Terry

"St. Paul Lutheran welcomed and accepted my husband and me the first time we attended.  We did not feel like outsiders.  It has a family atmosphere, a welcoming and giving spirit.  We have a heart for children who are welcomed in the main sanctuary.  Our social moments before Bible Study are not rushed but cherished.  Bible studies are where you read Scripture and discuss its meaning.  The church echoes our values of faithfulness, connection, reverence, and care." ~ Glenda and Charles

"I moved to NC in 2013 and was looking for a new church home.  At the time, St. Paul was the only one doing services on YouTube.  I sat back and listened to Pastor Daub preach, feeling a sense of comfort and familiarity. I attended one service, then another, and another after that.  My life began to feel complete when I started attending St. Paul faithfully and listening to Pastor Daub's sermons.  I felt the Holy Spirit again!  Not only was there a sense of familiarity, but the parishioners were sincere, friendly, and gracious people who warmly welcomed me with open arms!  My husband and I now call St. Paul our home!  I very much appreciate the guidance Pastor Daub provides in leading, instructing, deepening, and strengthening his flock in the faith." ~ Pam

"We came here in 1958, and there was no LC-MS church here.  I was adrift with no church home.  Then I stumbled on the St. Paul group, and I was absolutely thrilled! St. Paul became my church home where I served the Lord as a Sunday School teacher, treasurer, representative in the former Lutheran Brotherhood, and as organist.  I had the privilege of taking youth to Camp Linn Haven for many years, spending a week at a time as their camp counselor.  I consider all of these activities opportunities to work with other Christians serving the Lord.  St. Paul Lutheran Church has been a major blessing to me in my lifetime. "Lord, I love the habitation of Your house and the place where Your glory dwells. (Psalm 26:8)'" ~ Susie.
